The Anderson Council

Given the British Invasion, where UK bands did their best to emulate their American idols and take over the US, it’s only fair that an American band should come up with the idea of emulating British bands. With convincing hooks, harmonies, and – yes – accents, The Anderson Council does just that.

Despite a late start, and a missing member (due to a family emergency), the show went on with much success. The standard concert atmosphere was augmented by the fact that we also had a Chanukah party going on at the same time, so the standard dinner included latkes (potato pancakes).

It turned out that Peter, the band’s lead singer and writer grew up here in town, and that all the members live locally and practice in town – more musical neighbors – you gotta love it!
