The Bobs

How do I begin to describe the thrill of being able to host The Bobs in MyDiningRoom? Granted, not a guitar in sight (though perhaps their version of “You Can’t Do That” qualifies them as power-pop), but an amazing a capella sound. I’ve been a fan for 15 years, have seen them numerous times, and have taken both my children and parents to see them on different occasions.

It turns out that Amy Bob grew up in Edison – right nearby, so her mom joined us for the show. About 85 total fans and friends – our largest crowd so far (at least in the house), also joined us.

Highlights included “Slow Down Krishna” with Amy acting goofy outside the window, some sound advice about the room, and simply being able to hang out with a group of truly talented performers, whom the whole family loves.
