Hoppers 13 and 1020

To finish off a very Pennsylvania summer, two Philly bands graced the hallowed halls of MyDiningRoom.

Hoppers13 started off with their version of guitar pop, much to the delight of the assembled crowd, which included a number of band families and friends (some kids got to see dads/uncles play in a club setting for the first time). 1020 followed with a more rocking style that complemented them well. The combo proved to be a crowd pleaser. Conversation ran late into the evening over food and drink.

We've since run into members of both bands in our travels throughout the PA/NJ music scene - including a visit to Hoppers13's Tim Butler's home turf of Philadelphia University - always a pleasure to see them.
