The Marlowes

John, from The Marlowes, offered his band’s services, and after hearing, “Nuclear Suitcase”, we knew that they were a perfect fit for MyDiningRoom. They fit so well, that they’ve actually played twice (see the Pre-IPO warm-up). We were treated to an expanded line-up when a friend of the band’s/ex-member/musician on a previous CD showed up to play with them.

The inhabitants and guests of MyDiningRoom have gotten used to fine musicianship (we only bring in the best for the crowd), but The Marlowes are truly skilled musicians. Running through an impressive couple of sets of originals, with a few select covers, they finished off with a rousing original called “Doubt” that just about blew the roof off of the house. An additional highlight (though not clear at the time), was the suggestion that we contact The Dipsomaniacs, who would become our first “off site” show (well sort of – read the story yourself).
