The Villas

Between a cold week and a snowstorm, The Bite The Wax Tadpole Concert Series was treated to sweet weather, and even sweeteer music when The Villas joined us for the afternoon. They got the volume just right, and pleased the crowd with songs from their CDs, as well as a couple of covers. We were joined by a crew of Villas fans from as far away as Baltimore (one of whom, Mark Hollis, provided the pictures on this page).

A grand time was had by all, especially Josie, our 2 year old, who heard one of her favorite songs, "Ticket to Ride," at the begining of the second set. She called to me "daddy, is that "Help!"?" upon recognizing the tune from her favorite movie/CD. I nearly collapsed laughing.
